The OINP (Ontario Immigrant Nominee Program), also known as the Ontario Provincial Nominee Program directly invited 2,349 Express Entry profiles on May 8.

This is the highest number of invitations ever sent in a 1 single OINP draw beating the previous record of 1,863 created in May 5, 2023 OINP HCP Draw.

Increase in number of invites is primarily due to increase in Ontario PNP quota for 2023.

The invites are being sent since yesterday to Express Entry profiles created between May 8, 2022 – May 8, 2023 under the Human Capital Priorities (HCP) stream.

Furthermore, the Express Entry profiles having CRS (Comprehensive Ranking System) scores between from 427 to 482 in 42 healthcare-related occupations (mentioned below) are receiving the invite.

When compared to the previous HCP healthcare targeted draw on March 8, 2023, the lower range of CRS cut off score drops by 42 points. Jump toSince the beginning of 2023, OINP has invited 7,751 Express Entry profiles in six HCP stream draws.

On a regular basis, OINP examines the Express Entry pool. Furthermore, send direct provincial nomination to profiles with high-demand jobs (NOC codes).

This provincial nomination bestows 600 points on selected profiles.

There is no need to register your profile with Ontario separately to be eligible for the Human Capital Priorities stream, but it is always advisable to select Ontario as your province of destination while creating your Express Entry profile.
