New IEC 2023 Round of Invitations | June 9

The new IEC 2023 round of invitations for the week ending June 9, 2023 sent out more than 1,600 invitations to apply for work permit.

For the IEC 2023 season, Canada has established a quota of 90,000 work permits across three categories, to be filled by people from more than 35 qualifying countries.

1,424 people have been given the opportunity to apply for open work permits under the IEC Working Holiday visa category this week.

Furthermore, 133 invites were sent out to applicants in the Young Professional category and more than 46 in the International Co-op (internship) category.

So far IEC 2023 has sent out around 80,700 open work permit invitations under the working holiday visa category.

Always bear in mind that the number of invites does not always match the number of applicants who are accepted, since some applicants may refuse an invitation and the IRCC may reject certain applications if they do not meet the standards.
