First Healthcare Targeted Express Entry Draw Sent Out 500 ITAs

Today, Immigration Minister Sean Fraser announced first Healthcare Targeted Express Entry Draw sending out 500 Invitations to apply (ITAs) for 35 healthcare occupations.

Furthermore, he said that 1,500 more invitations to apply (ITAs) will be send next week targeting these 35 healthcare occupations.

He made this announcement regarding Express Entry for skilled newcomers in health care fields to address the labour needs in the healthcare sector.

Minister was also joined by Health Minister of Canada, Jean-Yves Duclos who announced that the first STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math) round for category-based selection will begin in the week of July 5.
