One-Pot Vegetable Stew

• 300g Knochen, denen noch etwas Fleisch anhaftet
• 750g Gemüse, je nach Jahreszeit (Mohrrüben, Kohlrüben, Blumenkohl, Spargel usw.)
• 1kg Kartoffeln, recht klein geschnitten
• 4 gehäufte Esslöffel verschiedener Nährmittel (Graupen, Nudeln oder andere Teigwaren, haferflocken, Reis oder Griess)
• 2–2½ l Wasser
• Salz
• Gehackte Kräuter

Die Fleischknochen mit Wasser kochen lassen, bis sich das Fleisch leicht löst. Länger kochende Gemüse im ganzen schon mitgaren lassen. Brühe durchgiessen und mit den Kartoffeln und Nährmitteln kochen (die Nährmittel entsprechend ihrer Garzeit hinzufügen, damit sie nicht zerkochen). Zum Schluss das feingehackte Fleisch und die zerkleinerten Gemüse hineingeben, salzen und die gehackten Kräuter darüberstreuen.

• 300g (0.7 lbs) bones with some meat
• 750g (1.7 lbs) chopped vegetables, depending on the season (carrots, turnips, cauliflower, asparagus, etc.)
• 1kg (2.2 lbs) potatoes, diced
• 4 heaping tablespoons of nutrients (barley, pasta, oatmeal, rice, or semolina)
• 2–2½ liters water
• Salt to taste
• Herbs of choice, chopped

Boil meat bones in water until meat loosens easily. Remove meat and chop finely, set aside. Strain bone broth, add potatoes and nutrients to cook. Prepare vegetables according to their cooking time, halfway beforehand if necessary to prevent overcooking. Toward the end, add finely chopped meat and chopped vegetables, season with salt and sprinkle with chopped herbs.
