The author of this creature is Ivan Pshonkin, director and animator. Ivan directed the full-length animated films "Fixies: The Movie" and "Fixies vs. Krabots." He worked as an animator in commercials for such brands as Beeline, MTS, Vkusnoteevo, Adrenaline Rush, Nestea, and others.

Luno is the mascot of the legendary Moscow store Lunohod-1. From 2005 to 2010, the store sold designer toys from a variety of authors and manufacturers from America, Europe, and Asia. In 2011 to commemorate the 50th anniversary of the first manned space flight the figurine was released in limited edition.

The creator of this figurine is Sergey Safonov — an artist, author and character designer from Moscow. The sphere of his creative interests is quite wide - from graphics and illustration, game and software design to toy design and production.
