2022-03-01 10:00:09 The mysterious "Moonstone" in Peru

Not far from the Peruvian city of Cuzco, there is an archaeological park with many ancient artifacts, which have become the landmarks of the country and attract many tourists.

In this park there is a huge stone "Killarumiyos", which means "Moon Stone" in the Quechua language (South American Indians).

The titular surface of this megalith has a hollow in the shape of a hemisphere.

It seems that when creating it, ancient craftsmen used the most precise drawing tools and equipment, which allowed them to make a perfectly flat surface.

While scientists have not yet answered the question of why they needed the Moonstone and what its purpose was, it has been hypothesized that for the Indians it was a place of religious observance. Open / Comment

Mount Sinyukha is located in the Smolensk region 20 kilometers from Belokurikha. There are many mountains with such a name in Altai. Their height is 1379 meters. This place is very beautiful and untouched by human activities.

From the northern slopes of Sinyukha starts the Belokurikha river that runs down a narrow valley that turns into a mountain gorge and turns into the Ob plains. Most of the mountain is occupied by mixed and pine forests, and the top is a scattering of huge rocks. 

The locals also call the mountain "Sinyukha," or "Sumnaya. They associate this name with an interesting story. Open / Comment
