Instagram is testing a new way to share links in stories through stickers. Previously only verified and 10,000+ followers users could share links with a swipe, but now Instagram is testing a new feature that would be available to a wider audience

Instagram's product head Vishal Shah said that "it's mostly to learn how people might take advantage of links". They'll be watching for the types of links people post while keeping a particular eye on misinformation and spam

Having links in Stickers would enable users to also reply to an Instagram Story, which was not possible with the swipe-up gesture

Instagram is currently testing the feature with a small audience, and yet, there is no information when they will conduct a roll out for all its users

Uber chief executive Dara Khosrowshahi spent part of the weekend working for UberEats, the company's delivery arm for 3.5 hours and made $106 — about 0.3% of his daily salary

Khosrowshahi's compensation totaled just over $12 million in 2020 or approximately $33,333 a day

In the tweets, he said he completed 10 trips while being online for 3.5 hours, netting him $106.71 with tips, putting his hourly pay at around $30. UberEats workers are paid per delivery as well as per mile

Some users on Twitter took issue with what he disclosed and said the amount earned and the hours worked didn't add up

A company spokesperson said the discrepancy was due to a break and tips that came in after the executive had clocked out. UberEats customers can add a tip up to 90 days after their order

The average food delivery driver, not just those employed at Uber, makes about $13 an hour, according to Payscale

The UK’s Competition and Markets Authority (CMA) is probing whether Amazon and Google broke consumer laws by failing to take action against fake reviews on their sites

CMA announced that it is investigating concerns that Amazon and Google have not been doing enough to prevent or remove fake reviews to protect customers and honest businesses

Once it concludes its investigation, the CMA can take enforcement action if it finds Amazon or Google broke UK consumer protection laws, which could range from getting commitments from the tech firms to change how they handle fake reviews to possible court action

The investigation is the UK regulator’s latest attempt to scrutinize fake reviews on US tech platforms. In April, Facebook removed 16,000 groups that were trading fake reviews after the CMA raised concerns
