2022-02-14 13:05:06 [SCAM ALERT] Scammers are actively targeting DBS customers using fake bank websites to steal customers’ DBS credentials, personal information and credit card details.

If a customer falls victim to this scam, the scammer will attempt to take over their internet and mobile banking accounts and conduct unauthorised transactions on their credit card.

Do not to provide your Username-PIN Code combinations to these sites. Doing so may allow an attacker to gain access to your Digibank account or conduct future phishing attempts against you.

2022-02-12 07:30:42 We are aware of some comments online relating to unauthorised deductions from a bank account even though no personal credentials were given away. The case in question is due to card fraud. This can happen when card credentials are compromised.

To safeguard customers from unauthorised card transactions, global card payment networks adopt the 3D-Secure security protocol, which requires customers to authenticate their online transactions using a One-Time-Password via SMS, or their digital token.

Most reputable online merchants are 3D-Secure enabled. Customers should always try to transact with these merchants and should be aware of the card security protocols to further protect themselves. In the event that customers have a disputed transaction with non-3D-Secure merchants, they should contact their bank which can assist them to handle chargeback claims. #BSHARP Open / Comment
