2021-02-25 16:58:30 FRENCH GOVERNMENT TO IMPOSE MIGRANTS TO RURAL AREAS

The French government has just announced a new plan that aims to "decongest Paris" and distribute migrants to other French regions, especially rural areas.

This plan is controversial, as rural areas consider it not normal for them to pay the price for Paris's disastrous immigration policy.

The countryside also fears an increase in crime and the demographic weight of African populations.

The financial cost will also be significant since the countryside will have to feed and house the migrants.

As a reminder, nearly 40% of migrants and asylum applications take place in Paris region. The aim of the plan is to better distribute this number in rural towns.

As an indication, each year a total of more than 400,000 immigrants come to France.
