#Saxony is now one of the hotspots of #Corona infection in Germany.

The Saxon cabinet passed a new corona protection ordinance valid from December 1 to 28, 2020.
The main changes are followings:

Gatherings in public and private spaces
Maximum 2 households and 5 people
Children up to the age of 14 are not counted
For Christmas max up to 10 people

Face masks
Also in workplaces and factories
except in the immediate workplace if minimum distance of 1.5 meters can be maintained

Facilities in the culture and leisure area
Remain closed
Music schools are allowed for individual lessons

The 586th #Dresdner #Striezelmarkt was planned to open on November 23rd.

However, due to the new regulations from November 2, the #Christmas #Market in its newly planned form and the other thematic Christmas markets cannot take place in November.
Further implementations for December are currently being considered.

On November 10, 2020, the Cabinet amended the Saxon Corona Protection Ordinance. According to this, as of Friday November 13, the protective regulations became a bit tighter.

In addition to the previous regulations, also:

Open-air meetings are only permitted at a fixed location and with a maximum of 1,000 participants if all meeting participants, leaders and stewards wear a mouth-and-nose cover and a minimum distance of 1.5 meters is maintained between all meeting participants.

Adult education centers are to be closed.

Tourist bus tours are prohibited.

These are valid up to and including November 30, 2020.
