2021-05-24 08:30:10 Hi, I'm Nikhil Shahu my father Suryabhan shahu was diagnosed with a rare post-Covid Mucormycosis last month. In the month of march he was admitted to a hospital for COVID treatment as he was tested positive.He struggled with uncontrolled high blood sugar. Whilst he was recovering, unfortunately, he got infected with this dangerous fungal infection.

Currently, he is admitted and receiving treatment at Lotus Hospital Nagpur. The treatment for Mucormycosis is very expensive and sadly, we cannot afford it. We urgently need financial help to raise money for further treatment. Till now he has went through 4 surgery’s due to the seriousness of infection .Doctors has even removed his one eye because it was totally damaged.He is still in hospitalization with a very expensive treatment of daily injections of Amphotericin B and Posaconazole.Also, there is a high risk of infection spread to the brain which could be fatal. His body is fighting but we need financial support to keep the fight going.
We all are praying and Doctors are trying hard to avoid any further spread.

We've arranged some amount from our savings & contributions however, for the next 30 days, we need more money for further treatment.
