Love suffers long and is kind; love does not envy; love does not parade itself, is not puffed up; does not behave rudely, does not seek its own, is not provoked, thinks no evil; 1 Corinthians 13:4-5

It’s sad to see how selfish the world has become; people looking out only for themselves, and not caring about others. But as God's children, we’re not this way. God's love has been shed abroad in our hearts (Romans 5:5), and an important quality of God's love is that it isn’t selfish. God's love doesn’t look out for itself but cares for others too. This is why you shouldn't be selfish.

Therefore, be different as you let the love of God in you flow freely as you show others genuine care, kindness and love.
