BE SPECIFIC

For assuredly, I say to you, whoever says to this mountain, Be removed and be cast into the sea,’ and does not doubt in his heart, but believes that those things he says will be done, he will have whatever he says. Mark 11:23

The title of today’s devotion reminds me of a story of a dear Pastor. He was praying to God for a bicycle when the Lord stopped him and told him to be specific of the type of bicycle he wanted. He immediately wrote down the colour and type of bicycle he wanted and began praying for it. Sure enough, he got the exact bicycle he had in his heart and written on paper.

When you are praying to the Lord about something, be specific. If it’s a new pair of shoes, tell Him the colour, type and size you want and you’ll get it.
