During his loan move to AC Milan, Dalot was was in regular contact with Paolo Maldini who advised him on what to do to play at the top for a long period. Concerning his defending, #mufc hope he improves on his agility, mobility and power in one-on-ones.

During his loan move, Dalot did a lot more training without the ball than at his previous clubs, under a defensive coach who encouraged him to study tactics. He also began working with a nutritionist which helped him gain muscle strength.

Rangnick brought in Honigstein due to the volume of media interest in his appointment and the fact he negotiated his move to #mufc without an agent, meaning he has lacked external advice.
