2021-08-09 16:30:04 As stated earlier the game should have been shut down 2 months ago.

Before the shutdown there was a check if the code could be saved in the form of increased stability and updates on the runtime sides. Unfortunately this wasn't possible due the high amount of errors thrown at once and previous lines of code breaking without a single change.

With this post we wish to inform you that the EmpireConquest as we knew has been put offline for good.
Community Chat, Channel and the bot will keep existing, only the bot won't be responsive anymore. But might be later this year when a possible new backbone of EC is back online.

I thank you all for participating in the game for almost a year!

2020 is nearly over and it was a year with obstacles over and over again.
It has been a strange year and it was a hard year for all of us. But in the end we got 484 unique registered players and this is an result to be proud of.
Hereby we thank you all for playing Empire Conquest! The game will stay operational for 2021 until the 11th of June, but the code will be public in January for those who want to host their own game or work to improve the game themselves.

From here on there will be other things developed by the team, but sadly EC will be discontinued by how poorly it has been written as first project.

Version 1.3.0 gets stalled for the time being.
The current mainframe which is build for EmpireConquest is reaching a current limit of maintainability. We're going to rebuild the complete mainframe for more stable performance and will test this new type of mainframe on another (game)bot first to make sure it works smoothly and works better for the long term.

Bug fixes will still happen during the time we're rebuilding the mainframe.

Our main focus of bugfixes:
- re-enable the troop return notify
- set war timers back to 1 minute
- improve the 15m performance
- re-enable the average village points module
- fix player profiles village list

The original idea for Version 1.2.0 has been split into two versions. Version 1.2.0 is pushed and Version 1.3.0 is being created with the features you can see beneath.

Version 1.2.0:
Distance (when 1.4) will calculate with 1.4 instead of 1.
Same goes for other values with a decimal.
Farm displays now where the troops "are".

Map has increased to a 10x10 border instead of closest 10 villages.
The 10x10 border is your X + and - 5 as well as your Y + and - 5.
If your village has X 495 and Y 505, you get all villages between X490, Y500 and X500, Y510.

Orders (all) will show the sending_village_name from now on.
