Israel attacks targets near the Damascus international airport, Syria

For the second time this week and just a couple of days after the landing of an Iranian cargo plane in Damascus airport, the official Syrian news agency reported this morning that:

"At 04:20, the Israeli enemy carried out an air strike from the occupied Golan Heights toward targets in southern Damascus. Syrian air defense systems intercepted most of the Israeli missiles (the usual refrain - Abu Ali). As a result of the attack, one person was injured and property was damaged."

Syrian opposition sources report that the attack focused on targets near the Damascus airport, with fires erupting there following the attack.
