Iranian Sources report on a UAV attack on an IRGC military base in western Iran that took place last Friday

Iranian opposition sources claim an explosion occurred in western Tehran last Friday night, a result of a UAV attack on the "Shahid Hamat" IRGC military base, used as a weapons production center. The target of the attack within this complex was a research center responsible for designing and manufacturing ballistic and short-range missiles.

According to these sources, the UAVs used in the attack took off from within Iran, only ten kilometers from the target. These sources also estimate that the UAVs were smuggled in parts and assembled before the attack.

The report also mentioned that the Iranian defense minister arrived Saturday morning at the base, under heavy security, to see for himself the damage caused to the site.
