Hi guys!
Quick tip for your speaking practice.
I often notice that a lot of tier 5-6 students tend to speak in short phrases rather than sentences.
It's very important when you practice speaking that you use full sentences. In other words, make sure you have a subject and a verb each time you try to say something.
Doing this will give you practice on getting your subject/verb agreement right. Over time, you'll be able to combine your simple sentences with connecting words. Once you can speak in multi-clause sentences, you'll start to fulfill the speaking criteria at a much higher level.
Remember, this is for practice. Once you are in the test room, just focus on communicating a clear message and being natural - good sentence structure should be automatic at that point.
