The diagrams illustrate five different sort of energy sources of France namely: coal, gas, petrol, nuclear and other, in years 1995 and 2005.
Overall, proportion of produced energy by petrol plunge over a decade whereas percentage of nuclear power soar during the period. Also, other remained production witnessed negligible change.
In first year, 1995, petrol power station sustained with just under 30% of energy to France and it declined considerably by approximately 10% at the end. Before growing noticeably to just over one in ten, nuclear energy ranked the fourth in providing energy with former proportion, about 6,5% (in 2005 and 1995 respectively).
There was a minimal increase in quantity of coal power from just around 29% to somewhere in the vicinity of 30%, a moderate rise of a percent in 10 years. Proportion of gas energy, meanwhile, underwent a negligible increase soar to less than third in 2005 and it was the second largest resource of power after coal. By contrast, other production almost doubled to around 10% from initial index 4,9%.
