Researchers of Chainalysis and Reuters have proved that this year the volume of payments using bitcoin reached a minimum.
Analysts studied the activity of the 17 largest platforms serving transactions using the first cryptocurrency. The work carried out allowed us to establish that the number of transactions with bitcoin has decreased by about 80% since the beginning of 2018. Also, BTC transactions have fallen in price by more than half. A sharp decline in the cost was recorded on almost all platforms. However, the lowest fees for cryptocurrency transactions began to be charged by the canadian service Coinpayments.
