Vo : so you are going to Southern Illinois University edwardsville?
Me: Yes officer.
Vo : What do you like about this university.
Me: Siue is one of the nationally recognised public university in Illinois State and it's ranked 293 among national universities by us news and World report. (Stopped and said is it 293? I said yes officer confidently look at him)..The course curriculum offered by this University is relevant to my area of interest which is well structured and balanced with major core and technical subjects like will be learning design of timber, masonry, steel structure and advanced concrete structures... okay okay interrupted.
Vo : When did you passed out.
Me: I completed my ug in civil engineering major in sep2020 and i have done an internship in xxx company for 6 months.
Vo : So you don't have any work experience but an internship.
Me: Yes officer and after that i prepared and taken IELTS and GRE test. And unfortunately i had to defer my intake due to the unavailability of visa appointment.
Vo : So how are you funding (low voice)
Me: My father is sponsoring my education with his xxx savings and also i secured an educational loan amount of xxx. Moreover to this we have immovable assets of 2.1 crore and also we get income from.. at this time he waived his hand and asked me to stop ok ok..kept my passport in the tray.
Vo : Your visa is approved. Have a nice stay.
Me: Thank you so much sir.
Vo : Yep.
