Me: Good morning officer how are you doing?
Vo: I am good, Please pass me your I20 and Passport
Me: Sure, Here you go.
Vo: Tell me about your Course.
Me: My course consists of 30 credits and we are given two options to choose, one is 24 credit hours for subjects and the other 6 for Thesis and the second option is 27 credit hours for subjects and 3 credit hours for Project. So i chose second option where I can implement the theorotical knowledge to practical knowledge
Vo: who is sponsoring?
Me: My mother is my sponsor, she has xx lakhs of savings and have an agricultural land of 15 acres and has an annual income of xx lakhs
Vo: How many universities did you apply to?
Me: 4 including CMU, the other 3 are NAU , CSULB and SIUE and received admits from 2 universities.
Vo: How did you get to know about this University?
Me: I had a professor at my undergraduate college, he is a graduate of CMU, so that is how I knew about it. (Not exactly)
Vo: Congratulations your visa is approved, collect it in 5 days
Me: Thank you officer, have a great day

I don't know what to tell, i was just confident enough and didn't fumble and answered his questions to the point with a good pitch. That's all
