During biometrics the security had allowed just half an hour before the slot timings.It was very hot in Delhi not even a roof to stand outside, plan your travel accordingly.

Documents asked in biometrics are DS-160, Interview Appointment,Passport.

In the biometrics they just validate our personal information and they take our photograph.During biometrics they will attach a sticker with barcode at the backend of our passport.

Here it goes the interview

Me:Very good morning officer..!
VO :Very good morning..!(with a louder voice than mine,then I got to know to be bit more louder)
VO:Pass me your passport,i-20
Me:Yes officer
VO:Ohh.. University at buffalo
Me:Yes officer masters in computer and information science (she did not even asked I mentioned it)
VO:(she throwed my i-20 into the tray) and the golden words your visa is approved.
Me:Thank you officer
VO:Thank you




After completion of this I was still in shock and I was confirming whether the passport is in my hand or not.

At consulate they charge you 50 for mobile and 100 for backpack.Asusual you have to stay under sun here as well.They had called 1 hr before the slot timings

Counter observation :There were total 7 counters operating on the day.Boy cut American was checking the confidence of students and accepting most of them.Indian VO was grilling the students.American bald guy was accepting as well.Not sure of other counters

Have seen high number of acceptance in the consulate.However they had also rejected some people(observation when I was standing outside the consulate).

Whoever finalised this university ,I am looking for rommates.Happy to connect.
