VO asked me to pass my passport and then I20 and I did.
VO - Oh Texas A&M Corpus...why this university?
Me - I have been looking for universities who provide me an opportunity to do my masters with thesis and also subjects which will cover my past experience where this university is providing me both and also I have been in contact with professor XXX and spoke with him regarding the idea I have on thesis.
VO - What is your idea?
Me - Explained about my thesis idea
VO - What did you do in your bachelors
Me - I did my bachelors in Computer Science at XXX University and my final year project is regarding XXXXXXXX, also this project is linked with my thesis.
VO - I see that you have work experience, tell me about it
Me - I have 3 years 4 months of experience from XXX company designated as Senior Software Engineer with a package of 28LPA. I had joined this company a few months back and before I used to work in XXX company where I got placed during my final year and joined as intern where the work here is completely regarding my bachelors final year project. I got the project idea from my internship.
VO - Nice, who is funding your education?
Me - My parents are funding my education with a savings of 35 Lakhs and I also have a secured loan of 40lakhs from HDFC Credila and we also have immovable assets worth 2.5Cr.
VO - What do your parents do?
Me - My father is into business where he is in partnership with super markets and he is also into real estate. My mother runs a private boutique.
VO was typing for 20 seconds

YOUR VISA IS APPROVED. Please collect it after 5-7 days.
Me - Thank you officer.

* I took my phone to the consulate and they didn't give me an option for any locker and I gave my phone to the auto driver who had taken 2 other mobiles. I put my complete faith and gave him my phone. Started worrying about my phone and forgot that I had an interview which helped me in the end and I was much focused with VO than being tense *
