VO: how many universities you've applied for?
Me: UNT, University of Houston Clear Lake, CSU, Texas A&M Kingsville
VO : Admits?
Me: 2 admits and 1 got rejected and the other is under review
VO: why this university?
Me: Explained Course curriculum. Also added 2 professors names and their research work (Meanwhile he interrupted me)
VO: Tell me about your Funding?
Me: My brother-in-law is my sponsor. I have secure loan of 21 lakhs and savings of 15 lakhs....... Mentioned assets of worth 4.5cr
He said congratulations young man in a low tone and repeated the question again without any pause in between
VO: what did you say? Tell me about your funding again?
Me: repeated the same.
There was $31.5k mentioned in my i20 and unfortunately he calculated for 2 years and i was short of 10 lakhs for 2 years then.
VO: I'm sorry you're not eligible this time

Me: Officer each subject has 4 credits and it requires 36 credits to finish the course. It has core courses and electives to choose from and also a project to be carried out. It's providing two tracks. Namely cloud computing and mobile computing where I've to choose one
Vo: How you're going to manage funding?
Me: I've secure loan of 35L and savings of 25L which will cover 2 years of my tuition fee and living expenses completely
Vo: I see that you've work experience
Me: Yes officer I've been working an an ASE in Edtia Solutions where I take care of end-to-end development of customized cloud migration tools that migrate the applications from on premises to cloud. ( explained this before even finishing the question that he was supposed to ask)
Vo: any relatives in US?
Me: No officer. I don't have any. In fact I'm the first person from my family to pursue Masters in United States
Unfortunately I submitted my application mentioning that I don't have past rejections which actually filled by the consultancy. I didn't even check that. Looking into the system VO asked the same.
Vo: I see you've 2 rejections, but here you mentioned "NO" to it.
Me: yeah officer unfortunately my visa got rejected then.........(I started explaining my version and the discussion went on for a couple of minutes and switching the mic off, he went in and discussed the same with someone else. After returning,
Vo: We haven't provided any option which you stated.
Me: added lil more explanation to it.
