PRAYING IN THE SPIRIT »» Praying in the spirit does not just m | Annamarie Strawhand - Faith Lane TV

PRAYING IN THE SPIRIT »» Praying in the spirit does not just mean only praying in tongues. It also means praying over something in the spirit that you are not able to physically touch. Example praying over a loved one that lives in another state, or praying over a city that is too far to drive to etc. It means your prayers, by the authority in Christ, by the power of the Holy Spirit are working in the spirit realm over that remote place or person. When the Apostle Paul talks about praying in tongues he says "tongues" or "groans". However when he talks about praying in the spirit he makes it clear that is what we must all do as ambassadors of the kingdom of God (after we put on our armor of God) that we must PRAY IN THE SPIRIT FOR ALL SAINTS meaning even if they live far away and you cannot touch them. Paul traveled alot and planted many churches, and sending letters back then took days if not weeks, he was teaching us when we pray over each other in the spirit daily, our prayers are being activated that moment over that person or place by the POWER OF THE HOLY SPIRIT. Who is ever present and omni-present and carries our prayer in the spirit realm to that person or place. I hope that clears that up. (I am in agreement that praying in tongues is one of powerful ways to pray in the spirit, what I am saying that it does not have to be in tongues to be a spirit led and powered prayer)....
