JAIL ABUSE
TALK IS CHEAP!
It is time for MTG, Gohmert, and Gaetz to up their game from talking about abuse in jail to actually doing something about it. More investigation is needed!
MTG filed a report. Marshalls moved 400 out of DC. Still nothing substantial has been done for J6ers.
Some of the abuses below. Extensive list here:
1- Continued Due Process, Civil Rights and humanitarian violations.
2- continued threats/intimidation by guards and staff
3- Unwarranted physical abuse, including beating with hands batons and use of OC spray
4- solitary confinement
5- contaminated food
6- contaminated water,
7- black water, black mold
8- back up sewage
9- withholding mail
10- withholding family visits
11- withholding lawyer visits
12- withholding discovery
13- withholding use of law library
14- Withholding religious services
15- Withholding haircuts, ability to shave and/or cut nails
16- Denied medical treatment
17- Denied access to educational programs
18- Theft/destruction/tampering of personal items, mail and legal papers
19- denial of meaningful fitness equipment to maintain physical health
20- sporadic recreation time
This long list show how outrageous is the treatment of these political prisoner.
Most of the pretence for holding these men prisoner is that they are a danger to their communities. However, it can be easily shown that none of them were thought to be a danger by their neighbors. In other cases, the prosecution is trying to deny bond to newly arrested defendants because they are deemed a danger to their communities while they have been free since January 6th and have obviously been living peacefully in their neighborhoods. The audacity of these prosecutors is beyond belief.
Citizens of this once free country, YOU need to ACT and DEMAND action from your representatives! Write or call. Hold them accountable.
