Let’s look at new trading opportunities!

Australia’s CPI – April 27, 16:30 MT time
US GDP – April 28, 15:30 MT time
US PCE – April 29, 15:30 MT time

High CPI numbers could prompt the Reserve bank of Australia (RBA) into rates lift-off in the middle of a federal election campaign at their May meeting. January’s release caused a massive volatility spike, moving AUDUSD lower and higher by hundreds of pips. Thus, we may expect the same this week.

The previous GDP release exceeded forecasts by 1.6% (6.9% actual vs 5.3% forecast). After the reading came out, USDCAD gained almost 1000 points till the end of the trading session. Thus, you'll have plenty of time to plan and execute your trades.

Traditionally, investors consider PCE an accurate inflation indicator. Last month, a higher-than-planned result caused an above-average bearish movement. This time volatility may be the same (or higher) as the US inflation is at 40-years high. Await active action in USDJPY and EURUSD.
