This message is for all of you and very important. Please read and explain this to every member of your family and especially children:-

A fire broke out in a famous bakery shop in Kota today. Fire can start anywhere. In case of fire, there may be delay in getting help to you.

Many years ago there was a fire accident in J.P. Hotel Vasant Vihar New Delhi, in which many Indians were killed but not Japanese and Americans. know why? I'll tell you :-

1. All Americans and Japanese people put wet towels in the spaces under the doors of their rooms and sealed the spaces so that the smoke could not reach their rooms. or arrived in very small quantities.

2. All these foreign guests tied wet handkerchiefs over their noses so that smoke could not enter their lungs.

3. All the foreign guests lay down on the floor of their rooms. (because the smoke always rises to the top)

Thus by the time the fire department personnel arrived, they were able to keep themselves alive.

While the Indian guests of the hotel were not aware of these safety measures, so they started running from here to there and their lungs filled with smoke and they died in no time.

Sometime back (24.05.2019) there was a fire accident in a coaching center in Surat (Gujarat) in which many children lost their lives due to this ignorance and stampede. Had they known about these safety measures, perhaps such a large number of children would not have died.

Remember, most deaths in case of fire are due to inhalation of smoke in the body, while less are due to fire.

Because in the event of fire, we do not exercise patience and start running from here to there. Our breathing becomes faster by escaping due to which a lot of smoke enters our lungs and we become unconscious and fall to the ground and then engulfed in flames.

Therefore, in case of fire, adopt these safety measures:-

1. Don't panic and keep your senses so that you can help others.

2. Tie a wet handkerchief or a wet but dense cloth over your nose. And lie down on the floor.

3. If you are locked in a room, then close its windows and doors and if there is a possibility of smoke coming from below or above or anywhere, then seal that place also with a wet cloth.

4 Ask the people around you to do the same.

5. Wait for the help of firefighters. Remember, firefighters check every room and they will find the people trapped.

6. If your mobile is working then you keep calling for help on 100, 101 or 102 continuously. Give them your location information as well. They will reach you first.

It took me 10 minutes to write this message. You can send this message to your loved ones in few seconds.

Anyone can get caught in an accident. Therefore, everyone must be aware of the safety measures.
