Ukraine Global Scholars, together with the Kyiv School of Econ | FLEX Alumni Ukraine

Ukraine Global Scholars, together with the Kyiv School of Economics, Emerging Leaders Program at Stanford University, Professional Government Association, the Ukrainian Catholic University, SET University, and Kyiv Academic University, launched an initiative called Ukrainian Global University (UGU) to unite the best educational institutions in the world to support Ukrainians.

Within UGU, Ukrainians (from high school students to graduate students) will have opportunities to receive quality education and conduct research that will help rebuild Ukraine. The initiative was created with the support of the Office of the President of Ukraine. It was also approved by the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine and the Embassy of Ukraine in the United States. Details on the website - https://uglobal.university.

If Ukrainian students or scholars want to become members of UGU, they can take advantage of the simplified application process on the UGU website. Then, they will have to go through the full or simplified application process at any educational institution listed on the platform to increase their chances of admission.

UGU, in partnership with Ukraine Global Scholars, is also working with DuoLingo to provide Ukrainians with free English language tests and certificates wherever they are. To obtain a free DuoLingo certificate, you must successfully pass the first stage of the selection process to UGU - the application on the website https://uglobal.university.

It is required for all students to return to Ukraine after graduation to help rebuild the country after the war.

Ukraine Global Scholars helps to develop UGU, but focuses on its own application process and careful preparation of its finalists for admission to the best schools and colleges. If you do not meet the age or other criteria for Ukraine Global Scholars, we recommend that you apply to UGU.

The same applies to the situation when you do not pass the first round of selection in Ukraine Global Scholars because applications to UGU are accepted without deadlines. The list of UGU partner schools and colleges is just being formed, so Ukraine Global Scholars applicants should consider this opportunity as complimentary.
