You've seen ancient sculptures, right?
Surely you have not noticed the typical facial features of some sculptures, namely:
- large eyes
- small mouth
- powerful bridge of the nose.
- Curly hair.
Sculptures with these features resemble each other, as if they were close relatives or...a separate race.
I have never seen such people in person. It turns out they were there in antiquity, and then they disappeared. But where?
Neither in the Middle Ages, nor in the Renaissance, such types no longer exist. Anthropometrically, they do not differ from ordinary people, but their faces are not very similar.
Have you seen people with such facial features in your life? Maybe you know someone like that? This type of face in sculpture is typical only for depictions of Olympic gods and heroes.
