2021-09-05 14:27:38 Freshman is launching a series of Career Guidance Events* where we will invite top professionals from relevant industries.

The first event is dedicated to Entrepreneurship.

Our first speaker is Julia Marsel who is a Co-Founder of Greenwise, a company that produces vegan meat substitutes, also known as “meatless meat". Her company partners with established chains such as Vkus Vill, Azbuka Vkusa, etc. Julia and other co-founders were mentioned by Forbes in the Top 10 “Entrepreneurs before 30".

At the event, we plan to discuss the concept of Greenwise, main challenges in its development together with Julia’s responsibilities in building the company.

The event will be held on September 7th at 16.00 (Tashkent time)

2021-09-01 13:51:39 A Few After-Seminar Thoughts

I am thankful to everyone who joined our seminar on this special day, Uzbekistan's 30th anniversary.

On this day, we want to reinstate Freshman's vision of promoting quality education and creating a new generation of leaders, proudly representing their countries from the CIS region.

Today's seminar was representative of our efforts in trying to realize this vision. As it seemed like a relatively successful attempt, we will be trying to organize similar meetings on a more regular basis.

It is unfortunate that some of you could not join the event because we unpacked most of the valuable insights and nuances in our seminar discussions. But I hope that the attached presentation will be useful at least in some way.

Both Advanced English and SAT English courses are full. There are still three spots left on SAT Math as of now.

Our team is settling in various campuses - we are working on a renewed content plan.

On October 1st, Freshman Academy will celebrate its second anniversary. We are preparing a few surprises for the occasion.

Our team is very excited and honored about the work that we are doing at Freshman. And we cannot wait for the start of the September Program!

1) Курсы Pre-IELTS и IELTS возобновятся в октябре. Для наших выпускников, мы организуем Writing Club, который будут бесплатной альтернативой в этом месяце вместе с воскресными Speaking Sessions.

2) На все программы в сентябре записалось больше студентов, чем мы можем принять. По традиции, мы будем принимать студентов по системе “first-come-first served”. Например, на программе Advanced English осталось всего одно неоплаченное место.

3) Не забудьте про Speaking Sesion сегодня. Валера также присоединится к дискуссии.

4) Умид уже в Йеле (photo attached). После адаптации в университете, мы запланировали, что Умид вернется в работу во Фрешмане.

5) В эту среду (Август 31) в 14:00, мы организуем бесплатный семинар на тему “Writing Essays for Colleges and International Opportunities”. Постер выйдет уже сегодня.

6) Мы опубликуем schedule курса SAT English сегодня вечером.
