Iranian Navy tactical vessels Makran and Sahand passed through the English Channel today.

It's first time in history that any Iranian fleet has choosen such path. It is confirmed that the Royal Navy coastguards will be escorting the fleet out of the channel towards the Atlantic ocean.

The fleet will be joining the Russian Navy on the Naval Day Parade in St. Petersburg, Russia.
