On the border with Afghanistan, the exercises of the Armed Forces of Uzbekistan and Russia began.
The maneuvers, which will continue until August 10, involve almost 1,500 military and 200 units of military equipment like tanks radars and other technical instruments, including the Su-25 Frogfoot aircraft.
