Israel hit Lebanon for the first time since 2006.

The attack was a response to missile launches from Lebanese territory. The Israeli Defense Ministry immediately announced that it did not consider Hezbollah to be involved in shelling settlements in the north of the country.

No one was killed or injured in the Israeli shelling.
