5. Now people can find your group or channel via the link (e.g. t.me/darkymemes) and the @ (e.g. @darkymemes).

4. Choose public (red) and type your wished name into the given bar (yellow). Your name needs at least 5 characters. You can use the following characters: numbers from 1-10, letters from a-z (it doesn’t matter if you use capital letters or small letters, as both @Darkymemes and @darkymemes gets you to the right channel) and "_". If it says "Sorry, this name is already taken", try another name, until you find one that hasn’t been taken yet.
Hit "Done" once you’re done.

How to create an @ and a t.me-link for your group or channel?
Telegram gives you as an owner of a group and/or channel the possibility to make your group or channel public, so other users can find it via the search bar. You can also send the link or @ to other people so that they can join by clicking the link or @ (e.g. t.me/darkymemes or @darkymemes).

I will use my channel @darkymemes as an example.
