(Part 3) How to grow your channel or group by doing cross-promotions?Cross-Promotions are a good way to grow your channel or group when done right.
So what you should look for when you’re deciding whether you want to do a cross-promotion with someone?
1. Look for groups/channels that post content like you. (You own an meme channel for example. So you are looking for other meme channels.)
2. Look for channels that have a views to subs ratio near to 100% (above 100% is even better). Use tgstat.com to get this information (It’s called ERR% on tgstat.com).

For example: You’re thinking about doing an cross-promotion with @darkymemes. So you check it’s ERR% on tgstat.com/channel/@darkymemes. At my date of checking @darkymemes has a ERR% of 122.9%. So this would be a perfect channel to do cross-promotion with because it gets more views than it has subscribers.
3. Get clear about the time that each others ad should stay on the channels. That’s so nobody gets treated unfairly.
4. Look for channels or groups of a similar or bigger size than yours.
Bonus tip: Use a post from your channel as an ad. So what you do is this: You tell your cross-partner, that he shall forward post xyz from your channel instead of an ad. This makes the promotion more effective, because if you should change your @ in the future, people will still be able to find your channel.
