From Maʿmar: From al-Dhuhrī: From Ibn al-Musayyab, who said: “The Muhājirūn did not used to pray the two rakʿāt before Maġrib, while the Anṣār used to do so”.
عَنْ مَعْمَرٍ، عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ، عَنِ ابْنِ الْمُسَيَّبِ قَالَ: «كَانَ الْمُهَاجِرُونَ لَا يَرْكَعُونَ الرَّكْعَتَيْنِ قَبْلَ الْمَغْرِبِ، وَكَانَتِ الْأَنْصَارُ تَرْكَعُ بِهِمَا»،

al-Dhuhrī said: “And Anas used to pray them.”
قَالَ الزُّهْرِيُّ: «وَكَانَ أَنَسٌ يَرْكَعُهُمَا»
