If he says: “Yā ʿĀhir (ie: O fornicator)!” then we have mentioned that it can have two angles: فأما إذا قال: يا عاهر، فقد ذكرنا فيه وجهين:
The first of them being: It is an explicit qaḏf (ie: accusation of zinā) according to his ﷺ's statement: “And for al-ʿāhir is stoning.” أحدهما: يكون قذفاً صريحاً لقوله - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّم َ - " وللعاهر الحجر).
And the second: That it is a euphemism. If he intends by it al-qaḏf, then he is given the ḥadd (ie: corporal punishment), and if did not, then he is given taʿzīr (ie: reprimanded). والوجه الثاني: يكون كناية إن أراد به القذف حد وإن لم يرده عزر
