Ibn ʿAbbās (may Allah be pleased with him) reported that the Messenger ﷺ said: “Two blessings many of the people squander (ie: waste away): good health and free time.”

حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ، حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ أَيُّوبَ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا إِسْمَاعِيلُ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ سَعِيدِ بْنِ أَبِي هِنْدَ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ، قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: " نِعْمَتَانِ مَغْبُونٌ فِيهِمَا كَثِيرٌ مِنَ النَّاسِ: الصِّحَّةُ وَالْفَرَاغُ "
