Sulaymān b. ʿĀmir reported from his father that Abū ʾl-Dardāʾ (may Allah be pleased with him) said: “The best worship place for a man is his home because he is able to restrain his tongue and his gaze in there,
حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ، حَدَّثَنِي أَبِي، حَدَّثَنَا وَكِيعٌ، حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ، عَنْ ثَوْرٍ، عَنْ سُلَيْمَانَ بْنِ عَامِرٍ، عَنْ أَبِي الدَّرْدَاءِ قَالَ: نِعْمَ صَوْمَعَةُ الرَّجُلِ بَيْتُهُ يَكُفُّ فِيهَا بَصَرَهُ وَلِسَانَهُ،

Refrain from going in to al-sūq (ie: the markets as the marketplace) deviates.”
وَإِيَّاكُمْ وَالسُّوقَ فَإِنَّهَا تُلْهِي وَتُلْغِي "
