Ibn Masʿūd (may Allah be pleased with him) reported that the M | IlmTest

Ibn Masʿūd (may Allah be pleased with him) reported that the Messenger ﷺ said: “May Allah brighten the face of a person who hears something from us, so he conveys it just as he heard it. And perhaps one to whom it was conveyed is of more understanding than he who heard it.”
عَن ابْن مَسْعُود رَضِي الله عَنهُ قَالَ سَمِعت رَسُول الله صلى الله عَلَيْهِ وَسلم يَقُول نضر الله امْرأ سمع منا شَيْئا فَبَلغهُ كَمَا سَمعه فَرب مبلغ أوعى من سامع

Reported by Abū Dāwūd, al-Tirmiḏī, Ibn HIbban in his Ṣaḥīḥ.
رَوَاهُ أَبُو دَاوُد وَالتِّرْمِذِيّ وَابْن حبَان فِي صَحِيحه إِلَّا أَنه قَالَ رحم الله امْرأ

al-Tirmiḏī said it is Ḥasan Ṣaḥīḥ.
وَقَالَ التِّرْمِذِيّ حَدِيث حسن صَحِيح
