Beverly Hills Cop: Axel F.'! This summer of 2024, Netflix brings us the return of the legendary Axel Foley, three decades after the last film. Directed by Mark Molloy, this nostalgic hit promises equal parts action and comedy.
Murphy, the former Saturday Night Live star who dazzled us in 'Coming to America', plays Foley, who returns to Beverly Hills to protect his daughter (Taylour Paige) from a threat. Joseph Gordon-Levitt, as his new partner, and Kevin Bacon, in a key role, add to the explosive mix.
We'll have reunions with old friends like Billy Rosewood (Judge Reinhold) and John Taggart (John Ashton), and Foley's legendary laughter. 'Beverly Hills Cop' was a milestone in the 80s, and this new chapter promises to continue its legacy.
The plot unfolds among investigations, conspiracies, and of course, Murphy's characteristic humor. This will be the fourth installment of a true classic.
