2022-05-06 04:25:50 The amount of people asking to scrutineer for IMOP and the other minor parties is so appreciated! We have put together a page of information and links on our website at this address: https://imoparty.com/Scrutineers

If you are interested to find out how you can help ensure a fair and transparent ballot count, please have a read over the information.

We are asking our scrutineers to keep an eye out for the other minor parties too!

Here is an overview

WHAT: Scrutineers not only watch over the counting of the ballot papers, they also oversee the ballots being issued and collected in each polling location.

WHY: Scrutineers ensure the integrity of our voting process.

WHERE: Scrutineers can (should!) be found at every polling place and mobile polling unit in Australia.

WHO: Open to ALL Australians (as volunteers you do not need to show an injection certificate). Only one scrutineer per candidate is allowed for each early voting centre, each mobile polling team, each issuing point in a polling place on election day, to oversee each officer counting the votes during the scrutiny, and each officer engaged in counting (including persons performing the function of second tier data entry operators conducting exception checks) at the Central Senate Scrutiny.

WHEN: Scrutineers are needed for early voting (from 9th May) through to Election Day on the 21st May, and during the counting of ballots.

HANDBOOK: https://www.aec.gov.au/Elections/candidates/files/scrutineers-handbook.pdf

FORM: https://www.aec.gov.au/Elections/candidates/files/scrutineers-appointment-form.pdf

POLLING FAQ’S: https://aec.gov.au/faqs/polling-place.htm

JAB STATUS: Scrutineering is a volunteer position and you do NOT need to be fully jabbed (nor do voters or campaigners) https://www.aec.gov.au/election/disinformation-register.htm

How to Vote for the IMOParty in 2022 Federal Election - 21st May

We now have available to share our suggested 'How to Vote' flyers for our 33 candidates across seven states of Australia for the Federal Election - 21st May

Please note that the preference sequences shown on our HTV cards are only suggestions. If you give your first preference to IMOP, please feel free to number the remaining boxes differently. No two parties have the same policies. So, our early preferences mainly indicate parties that support our principle policies - not that we necessarily support most of theirs.

IMPORTANT for your vote to count:

SENATE WHITE PAPER - At least 6 boxes above the line must be numbered in order of preference ; OR at least 12 boxes below the line must be numbered in order of preference. We are suggesting above the line only.

HOUSE OF REP'S GREEN PAPER - ALL boxes must be numbered in order of preference.

In electorates where we don't have a candidate, we recommend to vote #1 for another CADCO party (Great Australian Party or Australian Federation Party). Where they're not contesting either, vote for minor parties that object to mandates. Put the major 3 parties LAST, except for individual candidates in those parties who have stood for freedom.
