He seems to have arrived independently at something like Sorel's conception of the myth as oriented toward the future rather than the past, and applied it to the nation. No wonder, then, that he found a kindred spirit in the third position Spanish Falange.

Above all, he offers serious critiques of mass democracy. He deserves a reappraisal, perhaps even a new edition of his major work Revolt of the Masses. What do you think?
