so catch what’s left of trade with Allah:

حسناتٌ متقبَّلة،
accepted acts of worship,

وسيئاتٌ مكفَّرة،
expiated sins,

ورحمةٌ من الله ومغفرة،
and mercy from Allah and forgiveness.

فجِدُّوا قبل ارتحاله،
Work hard before it’s departure,

وأصيبوا من البركات قبل انتقاله.
and aquire from its blessings before it’s displacement.”

2022-04-29 20:48:01 Laylatul al-Qadr Moves Around The Last Ten Nights

Shaykh Ibn Bāz رحمه الله stated: "Laylat al-Qadr moves around throughout the last ten nights and it is not always on one specific night from the ten. It may be the 21st night or the 23rd or the 25th or the 27th, which is the most likely of the nights; and it may be on the 29th, just as it may occur on the even numbered nights.

The Prophet ﷺ used to specify these nights by an increase in striving and exerting himself (in worship) which he did not do during the first twenty nights (in worship), his Companions رضى الله عنهم and the Salaf after them used to revere these nights and diligently strive therein in various types of good deeds."

2022-04-29 18:30:06 Zakāh Al-Fitr

It is obligatory on A person to give zakāh Al-Fitr before the ‘Eīd salāh.

Why do we give? / wisdom

Ibn ‘Abbaas رضي الله عنهما said:

“The Messenger of Allaah (ﷺ) made Zakat al-Fitr obligatory as a means of purifying the fasting person from idle talk and foul language, and to feed the poor. Whoever pays it before the prayer, it is an accepted zakah, and whoever pays it after the prayer, it is just a kind of charity (sadaqah).”

(Reported by Abu Dawood, 1371. Al-Nawawi said: Abu Dawood reported it from Ibn ‘Abbaas with a hasan isnaad)


When should it be paid?

From the sunset of last day of Ramad‌ān, before going to pray Eīd salāh.


How much should be given?

Ibn ‘Umar رضي الله عنهما said:

“The Messenger of Allaah (ﷺ) made Zakat al-Fitr,

One saa’ of dates or one saa’ of barley,

obligatory on the Muslims,

Bukhāri - 1407.


The weight of the saa’ varies according to the type of food concerned, so when giving Zakāh al-Fitr by weight, one must make sure that what is given is equivalent to a saa’ of that type of food.

A saa’ is approximately equivalent to three kilograms of rice.

Types of things you can give as zakāh Al-Fitr

should be given is food for human consumption, such as dates, wheat, rice or other kinds of food that humans eat.

the form of the staple food that is used locally, whether it is wheat, rice, dates or lentils etc..


can zakāh Al-Fitr given in cash?

As for giving Zakah al-Fitr in the form of money, this is not permissible at all, because the Prophet (ﷺ ) said that it must be given in the form of food, not money. He clearly stated that it is to be given in the form of food, so it is not permissible to give it in any other form.


whom should be given?

At-Taubah 9:60

إِنَّمَا ٱلصَّدَقَٰتُ لِلْفُقَرَآءِ وَٱلْمَسَٰكِينِ وَٱلْعَٰمِلِينَ عَلَيْهَا وَٱلْمُؤَلَّفَةِ قُلُوبُهُمْ وَفِى ٱلرِّقَابِ وَٱلْغَٰرِمِينَ وَفِى سَبِيلِ ٱللَّهِ وَٱبْنِ ٱلسَّبِيلِۖ فَرِيضَةً مِّنَ ٱللَّهِۗ وَٱللَّهُ عَلِيمٌ حَكِيمٌ

Zakah expenditures are only for the poor and for the needy and for those employed for it and for bringing hearts together [for IsLam] and for freeing captives [or slaves] and for those in debt and for the cause of Allaah and for the [stranded] traveler – an obligation [imposed] by Allah. And Allaah is Knowing and Wise.

2022-04-28 17:54:22 27th Night of Ramadaan for many tonight - possibly LAYLATUL QADR إن شاء الله!

Strive to seek forgiveness from your Lord for the month of granting of Forgiveness is still with us.

Seal this month with more good deeds because verily the rewards of deeds performed depends upon the last actions!

إنما الأعمال بخواتيمها

Remember each other in Du'a.
Remember whole Ummah in Du'a.
Remember al Aqsa in Du'a!
Remember كنوز العلم in Du'a.

May Allaah SubhaanaHu wa Ta'ala Accept us among His chosen and honored slaves.

May Allaah SubhaanaHu wa Ta'ala Accept whatever ibadah we have put forth out of His graciousness.

May Allaah SubhaanaHu wa Ta'ala Grant us Laylatul Qadr and All its bounties.

لا إله إلا أنت سبحانك إني كنت من الظالمين!

اللهم بلغنا ليلة القدر!
آمين يارب العالمين

2022-04-28 12:30:46 Shedding tears upon the departure of Ramadaan!

"The hearts of the righteous people are filled with longing, lamenting from the pain of departure[of Ramadhaan].

How can a believer not shed tears upon its [Ramadhaan] departure when he does not know if he will live to see it again?

O Ramadhaan! Be gentle, the tears of your lovers are pouring out. Their hearts are torn from the pain of your departure.

Perhaps standing to bid you farewell will extinguish the burning fire of longing.

Perhaps taking a moment to repent will mend everything that has been torn in past.

Perhaps one cut off from the procession of those whose fast has been accepted will be joined with them.

Perhaps the one imprisoned by his sins will be freed.

Perhaps one deserving to be punished in Hell will be liberated.

Perhaps the mercy of the Lord will be granted to the sinner."

O Ramadhaan! Be gentle, the tears of your lovers are pouring out.

Ibn Rajab (d.795H) mentioned in his, 'Latā'if':

لما كثرت أسباب المغفرة في رمضان كان الذي تفوته المغفرة فيه محروماً غاية الحرمان

"When the reasons and means for being forgiven are abound/brimming in Ramadān, the one who misses out on forgiveness in it, is deprived an utter deprivation."

”اللهم إنك عفو تحب العفو فاعفُ عني‏"‏ ‏

Allahumma innaka 'afuwwun, tuhibbul-'afwa, fa'fu 'anni

(O Allaah, You are Most Forgiving, and You love forgiveness; so forgive me).
