Etiquette of the day of Jumuah

Purifying and cleaning oneself and Dressing well for Salat-al-Jumuah
Prophet ﷺ said: “Verily, Allah has made this day (of Friday) a celebration for the Muslims. So whoever comes to Friday (prayer), then let him bathe himself, and if he has any perfume let him put some on, and use the toothstick.”
● [رواه ابن ماجه ١٠٩٨ وصحيح الترغيب ١\٢٩٨]

*& Reciting Surah al-Kahf.**
Prophet ﷺ said: “Whoever reads Surah Al-Kahf on Fridays will be adorned with light from that Friday to the next.”

Reciting Durood upon Prophet Muhammad (ﷺ)
Prophet ﷺ said: “Send prayer upon me abundantly on the day of Jumu’ah (Friday) & on the night of Jumu’ah (Thursday night) for he who sends prayer upon me one time, Allāh sends prayer upon him 10 times.”

Make lots of Duas
Prophet ﷺ said: “There is such an hour on Friday, that if any Muslim makes Du’ā during it, his Du’ā will be accepted.”
● {صحيح البخاري ٥٢٩٥، صحيح مسلم ٨٥٢}

…and remember… “The deeds most loved by Allah are those done regularly, even if they are small.”

The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said:

"Whoever prays qiyaam – i.e. Taraweeh – with the imam until he finishes, it will be recorded as if he spent the whole night in prayer."

Time will pass very quickly, as if they were mere moments. We will be welcoming Ramadān, then we bade it farewell, and only a short period of time will pass and we will be welcoming Ramadān again.

So we should hasten to do good deeds in this month and strive to fill it with that which Allaah is pleased with and with that which will help us on the Day when we meet HIM.

2022-04-12 16:30:24 10 Days of #Ramadan have passed...

One Third of it is gone/almost gone ...

What did we do so far?

- Did we feed any poor for Iftar?
- Did we repent enough to get ourselves forgiven?
- Did we pray Taraweeh Regularly?
- Did we recite enough Qur'an?
- Did we spend time understanding the Words of Allah (Qur'an)?
- Did we make enough du'a or did we delay thinking we have enough days?

Ramadan will just fly by and those who delay may not benefit from it!

So let's tighten up and make the most of what is left...

May Allah guide us to make the most of this Precious Month

Abu Hurairah narrated that :

The Messenger of Allah said: "On the first night of the month of Ramadan, the Shayatin are shackled, the jinns are restrained, the gates of the Fires are shut such that no gate among them would be opened. The gates of Paradise are opened such that no gate among them would be closed, and a caller calls: 'O seeker of the good; come near!' and 'O seeker of evil; stop! For there are those whom Allah frees from the Fire.' And that is every night."  (Sunan Tirmizy 682, declared to be authentic by Sheikh Albani) Open / Comment
