As cosmonaut Oleg Artemyev told TASS, an experiment was launched on the ISS to grow the coronavirus protein using a 3D bioprinter.

The nucleocapsid protein of the coronavirus was delivered to the space station on the S. P. Korolev” (“Soyuz MS-21”). It is now undergoing crystallization. The whole process is filmed on a GoPro camera. The experiment is carried out by cosmonaut Denis Matveev.

The experiment is expected to be completed by March 30. Soyuz MS-19 is scheduled to return to Earth on this day with three crew members: Russian cosmonauts Anton Shkaplerov and Petr Dubrov and NASA astronaut Mark Vande Hay

NVIDIA announced the RTX 3090 Ti at CES earlier in the year. The card was supposed to go on sale on January 27th, but NVIDIA is rumored to have identified issues with Micron GDDR6X memory right before the card was shipped to reviewers.

The RTX 3090 Ti is based on the GA102 GPU. The card comes with 10,752 CUDA cores, 40 TFLOPS of performance, and 24GB of GDDR6X memory at 21Gb/s, almost 7.7% faster than the RTX 3090 with the same 24GB of memory.
