2022-05-27 18:57:08 I'd split the people reading it into two sides: open-minded learners & rats in the cages of their bigotry.

The first group would go beyond the excerpt of Valera's Post and would start exposing themselves to philosophy; they would also wanna learn to think critically. Certainly, it is not in any way easy, both mentally and physically, to witness your pre-installed cognitive system being ruthlessly uninstalled and re-programmed back on a fundamentally different die. These terms might also sound fancy, but taking notes of them is at least, or worst, a good starting point.

The other side might not have even made it to reading till this point (so if you are still here, congrats, a good sign you belong to the first group). Rats avoid light at any cost; they'd rather die. So do "our rats" - feel attacked, insecure, and, worse, proud. Proud, thinking they already have their own "opinion" and feeling nobly "defending" it.

2022-05-24 15:09:57 Tomorrow is quite a day for a high schooler: graduation party preparations, flowers, farewells.

Yesterday, I visited the school I graduated from - No 37 named after A.S. Pushkin, in Nukus. Although I'm much obliged to my lovely Russian Language & Literature teacher for her sincerity in guiding me, I didn't have those mesmerizing or "melting-down" emotions after the reunion with my school.

That is most probably because I had not managed to get emotionally or otherwise attached to any of the schools I attended, and that's also mainly because I'd gone to nine of them.

I like the nomad I have been so far. Yet many expectations I have not met for the carelessness a true nomad has, huh.

But I ain't sorry. Deal with it. SiKE!

Kaashif Ahmed. Yale Class of 2025.

After I got admitted to college, I started following pages like Yale class of 2026, Yale Law School, Yale Environmental School etc.

Spotting my presence in those public zones, this incredible brother Kaashif Ahmed reached out to me. Were I him, I'd far not be concerned about anything else than just dozing off after tough Finals.

The post-arrival process had really been worrying me, yet, in hour and a half, Kaashif broke it all down for me. Campus life, Muslim community, course choice, pre-orientation programs - everything, to cut it short.

I am truly lucky to have brothers like Kaashif and Umid [he knows Umid, btw], who have been guiding me through these overwhelming pre-college times.

I am in preoccupations of an experience one of a kind that's going to challenge me in all dimensions: academically, emotionally, professionally.

Such a brilliant person, yet so humble, considerate, and hard-working.

I have been following these guys' advice:

1) Gohar Khan.

MiT [Computer Science] graduate. Dense and simple shorts. One of the fastest growing blogs on YouTube.

2) Tulla Bee.

Stanford Freshman. Shares and analyzes her entire application that got her into Columbia & Stanford. Back in November, I used her Columbia essays to get a picture of what a good supplemental essay looks like.

3) Lour Drick Valsote.

Stanford Sophomore. Like most other personal-college-application-story blogs on YouTube, I started following him after watching his reaction video.

He also shares his Stanford supplemental essays; they are insanely creative.

1) Russel Peters.

Improvised roast of the audience will give you goosebumps. King of Accents.

2) Trevor Noah.

A cocktail of impromptu satire, political analysis, and African accent.

3) Steven He.

Emotional Damage.
Asian parents.

Me: I got all A's in my exams.
Dad: Good, you did average, what else?

4) Anwar Jibawi.

The guy with the best shorts on the platform. Too cringy at times, but that's his fad.

All of the guys above are so good at accents. I guess that's what unites them all.

However bad/well you performed in your test today, remember - I got a 1320 in my first attempt in May.

I don't regret a single moment, acquaintance, action I have had ever since.

It's all about maximizing whatever potential you have and not embarrassing yourself for what you don't.

Did I expect it would go this far?
Probably yesn't.
