Agents are reporting the appearance of Red Portals in the Ingress Portal Network! They appear to be controlled by an "Unknown" Agent.
These portals are only visible by visiting a particular Intel Map link: intel-x.ingress.com
These Portals may be related to the previous announcements by Niantic regarding the addition of a new PvE game mode in Ingress. We will share more information about these new Portals whenever possible.
